Cheat Mode

Enter the options screen from the main menu and select 'Pad Config'. Hold R2 and press Right, Down, Right, Triangle, X, at the pad configuration screen. A sound will confirm correct code entry. Begin playing and pause. Use the 'Cheat' selection from the menu.

MACHINE HUNTER

Super Cheat

1. Go to the password screen.

2. Enter ???HOST??? as a password.

3. Go to the options screen and highlight 'Cheat'

MAX POWER RACING

Unlock all tracks

Highlight Africa and enter: R1, R2, R1, L1, Square, L1.

Unlock all sports cars (Arcade only)

Highlight UK and enter: R1, Square, L1, Circle, R2, Circle.

Unlock all GTI cars (Arcade only)

Highlight Rome and enter: L1, Circle, R1, Square, L2, Square.

Race as Remote controlled cars

Highlight USA and enter: Square, L1, R2, L2, Circle, R1. While the track loads, hold Left and L2.

METAL GEAR SOLID

Bonus items after completing the game

Bandana

If you complete the game and finish with the good ending (by surviving the torture sequence so that meryl survives) you will win the bandana. Whilst wearing the bandana, snake obtains limitless ammo for his weapons.

Stealth Gear

If you complete the game with the bad ending (failing the torture sequence so that Meryl is killed) you will win the invisible stealth gear. Whilst wearing the gear you will not be seen by the guards, no matter how close you get.

Tuxedo

If you complete the game with bothendings, overwriting the same block on your memory card, in the elevator near the beginning of the game, snake will remove his gear to reveal a Bondesque, natty tuxedo.

MOTORHEAD

Additonal cars and Tracks

Enter COWRULES as the password on the options screen. Tree more cars and two more tracks are now available for use.

Increased Traction

Enter INSANITY as a password.

Faster View

Enter SOFTHEAD as a password.

Overhead View

Enter SUPERCAR as a password.

Disable all Cheats

Enter NOCHEATS as a password.

NASCAR RACING

Secret Game

Pressing X on controller 2 during the start of the title sequence brings up a Tron-style light-cycle game. How's that for a bonus.

Super All-Star Difficulty

When highlighting Difficulty in Game Options, press L1, R1, L2, R2. If it worked you'll immediately see a new skill level: Super All-Star Difficulty.
